Standard Size Backpack
Students will keep a change of clothing and a folder in their backpack. Please purchase a backpack large enough to fit these items. The standard size backpack allows for independence and decreases frustration that occurs with a smaller size backpack. Please label your child’s backpack.
Suggested Donation of Classroom Supplies:
- Dixon Ticonderoga #2 wooden pencils (1 dozen, sharpened preferred)
- Crayola crayons (4 boxes, 24 count)
- Crayola broad tip “CLASSIC” markers (1 box of 10 markers)
- Elmer’s white liquid school glue (4oz bottle)
- Elmer’s glue sticks (24 small glue sticks)
- Kleenex (1 large box)
- Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (2 canisters)
- Baby wipes (unscented)
- Ziploc bags (gallon and quart)
- Dove antibacterial hand soap (2 bottles w/pump)
- Purell hand sanitizer (2 bottles w/pump)
- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

- 3 boxes of new Crayola crayons (24 count) regular crayons only, (box usually says “preferred by teachers”). It is outlined in red with a red crayon pictured on top (not washables)
- 2 large containers of Disinfecting Wipes (30 count)
- 2 dozen DIXON TICONDEROGA #2 wooden pencils (sharpened)
- 1 large box of quality Kleenex
- 1 box Crayola broad tip “Assorted” Colors (10 or 12 pack)
- 1 box Crayola broad tip “Bright” Colors markers (10 or 12 pack)
- 1 Pentel high polymer erasers (white) 2 pack
- 30 small Elmer’s glue sticks “disappearing purple”
- 1 Prang watercolor set, 8 colors with brush
- 1 pair Fiskars dull point child scissors
- 1 Box quart-sized Ziploc bags
- 1 Box gallon sized Ziploc bags
If your child’s last name begins with:
- A-M: Please bring 1 bottle of Softsoap (w/pump)
- N-Z: Please bring 1 bottle of Purell hand sanitizer (w/pump)
Look for Back-to-School sales. Several items can be purchased for $1.00 or less! (Target or Wal-Mart).
Please buy brand names when specified, if possible. DO NOT purchase ROSEART BRAND school supplies. Please send your child’s supplies during the first week of school
1st Grade
To Parents of Incoming First Grade Students:
In the fall of each year, teachers generally ask parents to donate supplies. Parents have requested that these lists be sent out now so that supplies can be purchased during August when many of the stores have special Back-to-School sales. As always, the school will provide the necessary supplies when families are unable to donate them. These items may be brought to the child’s teacher during the first week of school.
The first day of school is Thursday, August 15. See you then. Have a wonderful summer!
Suggested Donation of First Grade Supply List
(this list matches the school kit order list)
- 1 pair scissors (blunt edge, child size)
- 6 large Elmers glue sticks (No Rose Art)
- 2 dozen #2 Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)
- 2 Pentel High Polymer erasers (white)
- 1 box Kleenex
- 1 small pencil box (5x7 plastic box only) (no zippers or pencil pouch)
- 1 box BROAD Line, CRAYOLA markers (10 classic colors)
- 1 4 oz. bottle Elmer’s glue
- 1 box FINE Line, CRAYOLA markers (10 classic colors)

- 1 container baby wipes
- Purell 2 Hand Sanitizers (12 oz)
- Hi Polymer Pentel 4 erasers
- Kleenex 1 box
- 2 single subject 5 star, wide-ruled spiral notebook with pockets (Ex. Mead, Star)
- 1 ruler, 12" Wood, Inch and CM
- 1 sharpener

Incoming 2nd Grader Expectations
1. Tie shoes independently
2. Cover mouth and use a tissue when coughing or sneezing
3. Pack homework in the backpack so it is ready to be brought home and turned in
4. Be responsible for age appropriate chores at home like setting the table, sorting the laundry, and making the bed.
5. Be able to follow directions and perform tasks when assigned.
3rd Grade
To the Parents of Incoming Third Grade Students:
In the fall of each year, teachers generally ask parents to donate supplies. Parents have requested that these lists be sent out now so that supplies can be purchased during August when many of the stores have special Back-to-School sales. As always, the school will provide the necessary supplies when families are unable to donate them.
The supply list below matches the school kit list so if your family ordered a kit, you will have these supplies. Please see the very bottom of the list for a few additional requested items that are not part of the supply kit order.
